MY APPROACH AS A YOGA THERAPIST

Yoga therapy is often compared to physical therapy – in some ways, that comparison is true.

We assess movement patterns.

We build from foundational structures.

We progress gradually and intentionally.

But yoga therapy adds something essential: guided awareness and breath.

Breath changes the experience of effort.

Cueing refines the quality of attention.

Attention influences the nervous system.

My work operates through two lenses.

Through a wide lens, I design progressive programs that build capacity over time – strength, coordination, and adaptability.

Through a zoom lens, I guide awareness with precise cueing, empowering clients to notice subtle shifts in breath, alignment, and internal response.

We strengthen beyond muscles.

We train resilience – the body's ability to adapt, recover, and remain steady in challenging situations.

Through structured, repeatable sequences, the body learns efficient coordination. The breath becomes the guiding force steadying the system, and deepening clarity. Over time, this creates the conditions for flow – a focused, embodied state where movement and mind align.

Flow is not accidental.

It is trained.
